Mental Health Support for Doctors & Families
Sun Pharma has partnered with Mann Talks to provide doctors and their families with free and confidential emotional and psychological care by trained mental health professionals.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We aim to provide a safe and private virtual environment. Data that identifies you is not stored or analyzed by us in any form.
Everything you share will remain confidential with our counsellors.
Our counsellors are trained mental health professionals who have been rated highly by peers from your fraternity.
How does it work?
Choose your preferred date and time
On the appointment page you will find a calendar displaying available dates. Our counsellors are available from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Sunday. You can select a date and time based on your preference.
Book your appointment
You can book your appointment by sharing some basic details. These details will only be used to confirm your counselling session and send you a reminder. They will not be shared with any person beyond the counselling team.
Speak with your counsellor
You have the option to speak over a call or log into a video session on Zoom. Each appointment is for 50 minutes.
After you book your appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation via email (and on your phone number if you opt for the same). Your appointment confirmation will include the date, time and “location” i.e. the phone number on which you should call or the zoom link you can use for your counselling session. We will send you a reminder 15 minutes before your session so you don’t miss the same.
At Mann Talks, we prioritize privacy, confidentiality, dignity and respect of each caller. Our counsellors will not share anything you discuss with anyone outside the counselling team. The only time confidentiality may be broken is if the counsellor feels you might harm yourself, or those around you. In any other circumstance, what you share remains confidential.
No! We will not record any session, in audio or video format.
At the end of your counselling session, your counsellor will ask you if you would like to book another session with them. If you’re comfortable speaking to the same counsellor again, your counsellor will book your next session on your behalf, on the same call. If you’re undecided about the counsellor or unable to confirm availability for your next session during this call, but later wish to speak to the same counsellor, you can write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, please mention the name of the counsellor you would like to speak with. We will revert with the counsellor’s availability and book the session for you. If you’re comfortable speaking to a new counsellor, please follow the original process to book your next appointment through the Sunkalp website. This new counsellor will be briefed on your case history before your call so you can begin where you left in the previous session.
If you are not a doctor or their family member but would like to seek emotional and psychological support from a mental health professional, you can reach out to the Mann Talks Helpline at 8686139139 between 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. For more information, visit Mann Talks
