How does it work?

Choose your preferred date and time

On the appointment page you will find a calendar displaying available dates. This appointment based service is available from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday. You can select a date and time based on your preference.

Book your appointment

You can book your appointment by sharing some basic details. These details will only be used to confirm your counselling session and send you a reminder. They will not be shared with any person beyond the counselling team.

Speak with your counsellor

Each appointment is for 50 minutes. You will receive a phone number along with your appointment confirmation. You can call on this number at the time of your appointment.

FAQs

After you book your appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation via email (and on your phone number if you opt for the same). Your appointment confirmation will include the date, time and “location” i.e. the phone number on which you should call for your counselling session. We will send you a reminder 15 minutes before your session so you don’t miss the same.

At Mann Talks, we prioritize privacy, confidentiality, dignity and respect of each caller. Our counsellors will not share anything you discuss with anyone outside the counselling team. The only time confidentiality may be broken is if the counsellor feels you might harm yourself, or those around you. In any other circumstance, what you share remains confidential.

No, we do not record any sessions.

At the end of your counselling session, your counsellor will ask you if you would like to book another session with them. If you’re comfortable speaking to the same counsellor again, your counsellor will book your next session on your behalf, on the same call. If you’re undecided about the counsellor or unable to confirm availability for your next session during this call, but later wish to speak to the same counsellor, you can write to us at appointments@manntalks.org. In your email, please mention the name of the counsellor you would like to speak with. We will revert with the counsellor’s availability and book the session for you. If you’re comfortable speaking to a new counsellor, please follow the original process to book your next appointment through the Sunkalp website. This new counsellor will be briefed on your case history before your call so you can begin where you left in the previous session.
